Victor, Teresa Sadoff

Age 97. Born and raised in North Minneapolis, Teresa graduated from North High and attended the University of Minnesota, graduating with a teaching degree. Soon thereafter when her high school sweetheart, Irving Victor, returned from service in World War II, they married and started a family.

Together they raised four children, traveled, and delighted in hosting family events, including opening their homes in Minneapolis and Scottsdale to visits from close and extended family as well as to their wide circle of friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Irv; and her three brothers. She is survived by daughters, Randy (Andy) and Nancy; and sons, Barry (Katie) and Jeff (Judy); as well as grandchildren, Loren (Patricia) and Ross (Katie), Sawyer and Colton, and Eliana and Jadyn; and two great grandchildren, Ruby and Sophia.

She will be remembered as an elegant, brilliant, humble, and generous matriarch and role model to all her progeny, an avid reader, a lover of nature and life's simple pleasures, an astute observer and listener, an active participant and leader in multiple academic and volunteer pursuits, as well as keeping an immaculate home, being a fabulous host, a great friend, and a cherished member of the community.

The family would like to express its heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care provided by her caregivers and hospice.

Private services and shiva will be held. Contact family members for details. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum or donor's favorite charity. Shiva hours are Wednesday from 3–7 PM, Thursday from 3–7 PM, Friday from 2–5 PM, and Sunday from 3–7 PM.
