Sylvia Gold (nee Meshbesher) age 97 of Golden Valley, passed away June 22, 2011. Preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Mike; also by her son Terry, and sister, Charlotte. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Margie and Marshall Lifson; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Kathy Gold; and son, Richard Gold; grandchildren, Amy and Barry Newman, Carey and Dara Lifson, David and Xandy Lifson, Stephanie Gold and Terry Gold; great-grandchildren, Allisa Newman, Paige Newman, and Daniel Lifson; niece, Rochelle Hoffman; nephew, Alan Weisman; sister, Eleanor Bell; and best friend, Etheldoris Grais. Graveside service FRIDAY, 11:00AM, UNITED HEBREW BROTHERHOOD CEMETERY, 70 ½ and Thomas Ave., Richfield. Memorials preferred to the donor’s favorite charity.
