Susan "Suzie" (Ash) Herstein Obituary (1943 - 2015)

Susan “Suzie” (Ash) Herstein, age 71, of Mesa, AZ, formerly of Minneapolis and Omaha, passed away after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s. Preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Sol Ash; parents-in-laws, Sophie and Dave Herstein; brothers-in-law, Elliot and Morty Herstein; special cousin, Eddie Bailen and very special friends, Marsha and Larry Trachtenberg and Aronita and Mel Engel. Survived by loving husband of 50 years, Jeff; daughter, Roshelle “Shelle”; sons, David and Sean and very special daughters-in-law, Olivia and Hillary. Also Baubie to her granddaughters, Miriam, Sidney and Nava who always made her smile, she so loved their hugs, kisses and stories. Also survived by her loving Aunt Millie of Omaha. Sue worked at the Minneapolis JCC for years prior to moving to AZ where she started her second career in customer service at the bank. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Muhammad Ali Parkinson’s Center, Springdale Village and the Valley of the Sun Hospice.
