Shirley Gersten

Born 10/28/22 in Chicago, Illinois and passed on 7/6/2010. Preceded in death by her parents, Samuel & Minnie Selinsky; husbands, Harold Cohen and Frank Gersten; sister, Theresa Danzyger. Survived by her children, Teena (David) Lewis, St. Louis Park and Stuart (Cheryl) Cohen, Buffalo Grove, Illinois; brother, Lenny Selinsky, Desplaines, Illinois; grandchildren, Heather Lewis & Husband (Greg Overall) , St. Louis Park, Bradley (Ziva) Lewis Rananah, Israel , Rabbi Joshua Cohen, Israel and Missy & Jonathan Cohen, Chicago; 11 great-grandchildren and special great-grandchildren, Matan, Anna, Alon, Evy & Shira. She will be sorely missed by her nieces and nephews in the Chicago area, and by her many friends & family in Minnesota and Chicago. Graveside service FRIDAY July 9th 10:30AM at ADATH CHESED SHEL EMES CEMETERY, 38th & Winnetka, Crystal. Memorials are preferred to the donor’s favorite charity. Gathering of family and friends at Menorah Plaza, 4925 Minnetonka Blvd. (Sat 7-9PM) and SHIVA, Menorah Plaza (Sunday 7PM).
