Sheldon Howard Kieffer Obituary (1926 - 2016)

Sheldon Howard Kieffer, age 89 of Minnetonka. Loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Preceded in death by parents, Benjamin & Ruth Halpern Kieffer, precious daughter Debra Kieffer Eisenberg and brother, Edward Kieffer. Survived by his Eva of 64 years; children, Cindy & Joel Shapiro, Stan Eisenberg & Nance Alexander and Marshall Kieffer; seven grandchildren, David & Rachel Shapiro, Karee Shapiro & fiancé John Lucchese, Jacqlyn Shapiro, Nathan & Randi Eisenberg, Julie Eisenberg, Andrew Barron Kieffer and William Barron Kieffer. Sheldon attended SW High School, graduated from the U of MN, and served in the US Navy during WWII. Shel loved life to the fullest, he was an active member of Temple Israel, Oak Ridge Country Club, and managed his own businesses. He enjoyed traveling with family and friends, was an avid tennis player, loved music and dancing. He was a very involved father and grandfather who truly loved his family and friends.
