Sheldon Chester Obituary (1943 - 2019)

Sheldon Chester, age 75, of Minneapolis, passed away February 22, 2019 after a valiant fight with lung cancer. Sheldon is survived by his best friend, his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Lili. Sheldon is also survived by the family that he loved dearly, children: Marty Chester (Haley Schaffer), Ronald Chester, Kari Chester (Noah Trueger); grandchildren, Ella, Sophie, Rose, Pacey, Chester, Shepard; siblings, Gerald Chester (Fern), Priscilla Chester (Mitchell Bender). Sheldon was devoted to his family, who he guided with love and devotion to tradition. He was devoted to his clients, and for more than 50 years, he used his unique skills and unparalleled ethical compass to help his clients build the resources to support their families and communities. Sheldon was also devoted to his community, which he supported with enthusiasm, devotion, and dedication to the common good. He was beloved and respected by all for the principled, compassionate way in which he lived and the values that guided his life. He will be deeply missed.
