Sara Jay Obituary (2008) - Golden Valley, Minnesota

Sara Jay of Golden Valley, formerly of New York City, ended her journey with cancer peacefully on March 28, 2008, in the company of family and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Martha L. Jay, John & Jacqueline Jay; brother, Andrew Christensen. Survived by children, Max, Joseph and Daniel Jay-Dixon and their father; loving companion Frank Fiskey; siblings, Michael Jay(Erin Kennedy), Lise (Jeffrey) King, Gordon (Alice) and Tim (Lisa Ruiz) Christensen; many nieces and nephews. Ms. Jay was a member of the National Academy Arbitrators. Formerly an attorney for the Minneapolis Star and Tribune, she worked in private practice with J.Michael Colloton and as General Counsel for Maxim's Beauty Salons before serving as an administrative law judge(contract) and labor arbitrator. Sara is grateful for the company on her journey through life and through cancer of amazing friends, beloved family and inspiring professional colleagues and mentors, too many to be named.
