Samuel Robert Roitenberg age 46, a resident of Palm Springs, CA for the last 9 years and formerly of Minneapolis, passed away June 19, 2009. Preceded in death by mother, Dona; brothers, David and Steven; grandparents, Sam & Ruth Libman, and Sarah & Norman Roitenberg. Survived by daughters, Tiffany and Nicole; parents, Harold & Ruth Roitenberg; sisters, Jane Roitenberg, Ursula (Nicolas) Galanos; former wife and good friend, Diane Roitenberg; and other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Ana Recinos; Samuel's caregivers, Rosie, Jackie, Pauline and Cheryl; the staff at Vitas Hospice, and to his bone marrow donor, Todd Greenberg.
