Samuel "Buddy" Bronstien Obituary (1949 - 2021)

Samuel “Buddy” Bronstien III, only son of the late Samuel Bronstien and Ann Reichert Bronstien. Buddy was born September 30th, 1949 in Minneapolis and attended private schools in Hopkins, MN and Palm Springs, CA. He was a graduate of the University of Minnesota. Buddy was involved with the Masons, a volunteer at Temple Israel’s Usher Corps and the Men’s Club. Buddy also volunteered at Sholom Home as a companion. Buddy was a kind, unique, and fun-loving, husband, stepfather, grandfather (of 19), and friend. He is survived by his children, Amy Trent, Chad (Michelle) Trent, Kara Trent, bonus children, Aaron (Victoria) Kriz, Andy (Tiffany) Kriz, Nick (Zhenya) Melnick, Kevin (Sabra) Melnick, and his wife, Patty. Buddy passed away peacefully on August 29th 2021, at Methodist Hospital. Buddy will be missed by family, friends, and the local Dairy Queen.
