Rochelle “Ricky” Ann Schaffer Orloff Calvin, age 77 of Pasadena, CA. passed away December 10, 2013. Born February 28, 1936 in St. Paul, MN. Graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1958 with a Bachelors of Science in Education. Retired after 22 years with the St. Paul United Jewish Fund and Council starting as Women’s Division Director and concluding as Campaign Director. Family and Jewish Community were very important to Ricky. She was President of the St. Paul Chapter of Hadassah and served on the Board of Directors of her Synagogue and many other Jewish Agencies. Predeceased by loving husband Stafford Calvin, parents Lea & Herb Schaffer, sisters Paula and Nadine Schaffer. Survived by loving children Robin & Mark Wolff, Nadine Orloff, Steven & Barrie Orloff, Aryeh & Yosepha Calvin, Carlton Calvin & Mary Blodgett, and Loran Calvin & Tony Smith; grandchildren Jacqueline and Jordan Wolff, Samuel, Danielle and Noah Orloff, Isaac and Seth Calvin and Isabel and Owen Calvin-Smith. Funeral service FRIDAY, 12 NOON at BETH JACOB CONGREGATION, 1179 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights.
