Robert L. age 60 of San Diego, formerly of St. Paul, passed away April 26th. Preceded in death by father, Ben Calmenson. Survived by wife, Laurie; sons Michael and Kevin; mother, Vivian; sisters, Janet (Steve) Lesgold, Marjory (Buddy) Howell; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Harlan & Shirley Resnick; sister -in-law, Cathy (Mark) Sackett; brother-in-law, David (Debbie) Resnick; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bob was Past President of UMAA, San Diego chapter. Longtime sailing enthusiast and avid sports fan. His philanthropic efforts were spread among several charitable organizations. A professional in human resources, including 25 years with Tru-Part Mfg. Bob will always be loved and missed dearly by family and friends. Funeral service WEDNESDAY 1 PM, TEMPLE OF AARON SYNAGOGUE, 616 So. Mississippi River Blvd., St. Paul. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Robert L. Calmenson Pediatric Cardiology Research Fund, Minnesota Medical Foundation, McNamara Alumni Center, University of Minnesota, 200 Oak St. S.E. Suite 300, Minneapolis, MN 55455-2030.
