Rivian Goldberg Obituary (1928 - 2010) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota

Rivian Goldberg,age 81 of St. Louis Park, passed away on April 24, 2010. Rivian was born to Abraham & Lillian Desnick in Minneapolis. She is predeceased by her parents; brothers, Theodore, Milton, Baron and Josiah and recently by her cherished sister, Shirley Sigal. Rivian was married to Leo Goldberg from 1950 until his death in 1992. She is survived by her daughters and son –in-law, Rollee & Philip Smith and Abby Younger; grandchildren, Alexander and Evan Smith and Joanna Younger. She is also survived by her beloved canine companion, Lucy. Rivian was a lifelong member of Beth El Synagogue and active in Hadassah, Minyan and Mahjong clubs. She volunteered at the Sholom Home gift shop for many years. Graveside service WEDNESDAY 1PM at ADATH YESHURUN CEMETERY, 56th & France Ave. S., Edina. Family and friends will gather at Beth El Synagogue immediately following the service.
