Richard "Dick" Smith age 85, of St. Paul, passed away December 20, 2014. Loving husband, father, Papa, brother and uncle. Dick was preceded in death by parents, Fannie and William Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Joyce Smith; sister-in-law, Mickey Smith. Survived by wife, Marilyn; children, Hindy (Scott) Tankenoff, Michelle (Jeremy) Welford and Shawn Bulgatz (Naomi Heller); 10 grandchildren, Danny, Samantha, Mollie, Megan, Lilly, Sidney, A.J., Noah, Ethan and Gabe; loving sister and brother-in-law, Lorraine and Sidney Applebaum; brother, Harold Smith as well as many devoted nieces and nephews. Funeral service Sunday 2:00 pm at TEMPLE OF AARON SYNAGOGUE, 616 S. Mississippi River Blvd., St. Paul. Memorials preferred to the Temple of Aaron or St. Paul Jewish Community Center.
