Rhesa was born in 1929 in St. Paul, MN. She met the love of her life at the age of 15 at a high school sorority box dinner social. He made a bid on her box and on her heart. Together, they raised three children and created a long, loving legacy.
Rhesa used her never-ending creativity to write and direct musicals for Beth El Synagogue, through their Mr. and Mrs. Club and confirmation classes. She was a Zionist and dedicated her life to Hadassah serving as both local and regional president, and on the national board and was instrumental in developing and executing leadership training and Keepers of the Gate.
In her professional life, she always had an eye for beauty. Along with her loving husband, Marvin, she created Mr. Furniture and 2112 Design Studio. Together they owned and managed the high-end, contemporary design studio on Hennepin Avenue for 30 years.
Rhesa was honest, loving, and creative. She was never seen without lipstick and her hair and nails were always perfectly done. Her greatest legacy is her devoted family who never questioned where they stood with her and valued her honesty and strong will. She was loved deeply and will be missed greatly.
