Rebeka Daitzchman Obituary (1932

Rebeka Daitzchman, age 91 of Curitiba, Brazil, was born on August 26, 1932, and passed away on December 29, 2023. She was a lifelong resident of Curitiba. Rebeka is remembered for her love and devotion to her family. She was known for her humor, selflessness, and for playing a mean game of cards. As the head of the infant care center at a preschool in Curitiba for 25 years, she nurtured and cared for hundreds of children. Parents and staff remember her for her kindness, sweet demeanor, and her trustworthiness. She brought light and joy to all who met her. Survived by children, Marcelo (Clara Miriam) in Israel, Berenice (Marcos Bertoldi) in Brazil, and Luciano Uri (Rena) in Minneapolis; grandchildren, Dan, Iris, Marina, Gabe, and Isaac; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Memorial service 7:00 PM THURSDAY, January 11, 2024 at ADATH JESHURUN SYNAGOGUE, 10500 Hillside Lane W., Minnetonka, MN 55305. The service will be livestreamed at www.adathjeshurun.org.
