Raoul Sayles Heifetz Obituary (1933

Raoul Sayles Heifetz, age 90, of Minneapolis, passed away December 14, 2023, following a brief illness. Preceded in death by wife, Ferna; parents, Harry and Viola Heifetz; and sister, LouAnn Heifetz Bongard. Survived by children, Steven & Andrea Heifetz, Lois Held, and Pattye & Byron Hechter; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren, leaving a loving family legacy. Raoul was born and raised in North Minneapolis. He served in the Army during the Korean conflict and returned home to help build the family business. Raoul was a lifelong member of the Zurah Shrine, working to improve the lives of ill and physically challenged children. Funeral service 12:00 PM on SUNDAY, December 17th at BETH EL SYNAGOGUE, 5225 Barry St. W., St. Louis Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Beth El Synagogue, or donor’s choice. SHIVA 7:00 PM Sunday and Monday at Beth El Synagogue.
