Rachael Levy Bishop Obituary (1918 - 2010)

Rachael Levy Bishop May 9, 1918 – December 12, 2010 Rachael Levy Bishop, age 92 of St. Louis Park, MN, formerly of South Bend, Indiana, passed away December 12, 2010. Rachael attended Purdue University. She had an accounting background and worked most of her life in the family business, Radio Furniture Mart, in South Bend, Indiana. Preceded in death by husband, Harold Bishop; parents, Anna and Joseph Levy; brothers, Ben, Ira and Jake Levy; and sister, Ethel Parzen. Rachael is survived by daughters, Karen Rabinovitz (Robert), Anne Barnes (Hal), and Sandra Horton (Mick); 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Rachael was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be missed by all of us. Thank you to the nurses and aides at Roitenberg Assisted Living, Johnson Hospice Care and especially to all the wonderful volunteers of the JFCS Healing Program.
