Owen "Rusty" Rockler Obituary (1955 - 2013)

Owen "Rusty" Rockler, age 58 of Minneapolis passed away October 23, 2013. Preceded in death by his parents William & Helen Rockler. Survived by his life partner Karen Tschida; brothers Kenn (Susie DeShon) and Robert; niece Lisa Record; nephews Stevie Nyrop and Josh Hodney; and other family and friends. Rusty was 1973 graduate of Golden Valley High School. His gentle, loving presence in our lives will be sorely missed, as will his wit, wisdom and ability to find and share humor in daily life . Memorial service TUESDAY 11:OO a.m. at TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2324 Emerson Ave. So., Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Temple Israel. SHIVA, 7 p.m. Tuesday at Roitenberg Residence, 3610 Phillips Parkway, St. Louis Park.
