Nan Straus Falk Obituary (1958 - 2022)

Nan Straus Falk, formerly of St. Paul, died unexpectedly on February 3, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents, Zelda and Stanley Straus; and her brother, Daniel Straus. She was born on August 28, 1958 in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she spent over half her life. She married her soulmate Ronald Falk in 1986, and had two children, Leslie (Duncan) MacLachlan, and Aaron Falk. In 2007 Nan, Ron, and Aaron moved to California so that Nan could be closer to her parents, and she took care of them until the end of their lives. Nan made it her life’s work to take care of others, from working as a Dialysis Technician, to being a personal in-home caregiver for those in need; she had the biggest heart. Nan loved dancing to live music, Twins games, the Minnesota State Fair, camping and the outdoors, spending time at Big Marine Lake, and driving her Dune Buggy. She was vibrant person who made an impact on everyone she met, and she will be greatly missed by her loving family, friends, and dogs Panda and Jack.
