N. Lawrence "Larry" Bentson Obituary (2009)

N. Lawrence "Larry" Bentson, age 87 of St. Paul, passed away April 12th. Larry was the Chairman of Midcontinent Media, Inc., a graduate of Central High School, St. Paul and the University of Minnesota. He served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Preceded in death by wife, Nancy Ruben Bentson, daughter, Jan Bentson Martin, and brother, Dr. James H. Bentson. Survived by wife Barbara Braman Bentson; daughter, Laurie Bentson (William) Kauth; granddaughter, Kimberly Bentson Kauth. Funeral service THURSDAY, 2 PM, MOUNT ZION TEMPLE, 1300 Summit Ave., St. Paul. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the donor's favorite charity. SHIVA 7 PM Thursday at Mount Zion Temple.
