Monroe R. Levie, age 68 of Edina. Preceded in death by his parents Leo & Margie Levie. Survived by children, Mira (Randy) Weber, Shana and Benjamin Levie; grandchildren, Morgan Leo and Preston Cole Weber and Taliah Levie; siblings, Stephen (Barbara J.), Joel (Patty Kakac) and Barbara S. Levie; the children’s mother, Ronna Fenson; many nieces and nephews. Monroe was an ardent supporter of liberal social justice causes. Private service was held. Memorials are preferred to Margie & Leo Levie Caregivers Support Fund c/o Jewish Family and Children’s Services or the Margie & Leo Levie Nurse’s Scholarship Fund at Sholom Home West.
