Miriam "Mimi" Kaitz Obituary (2007) - Minneapolis, Minnesota

age 89 of Minneapolis passed away peacefully at home. Preceded in death by husband, Ben; parents, Harry & Molly Kolinsky; two brothers; one sister. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Richard “Dick” & Diane; grandson, Steve & Amy; great-grandsons, Ryan and Noah; a brother, nieces, nephews and friends. Mimi was an Icon in the Beauty and Music Industry. She ran two of the largest beauty schools locally. She was an innovator of many beauty products including Palm Beach Beauty Products which Mimi and her husband, Ben started. Mimi had a great love for music and she and her husband wrote and published many songs, one of which reached the “top 10” nationally. Mimi had many friends in the entertainment, stage and screen industries. She will be missed by everyone. Graveside service THURSDAY (TODAY) 1:30 PM at UNITED HEBREW BROTHERHOOD CEMETERY, 70 ½ & Thomas Ave. S., Richfield. Memorials are preferred to donor’s favorite charity.
