Milton J. Blumenfeld Obituary (1927 - 2017) - West Saint Paul, Minnesota

Milton J. Blumenfeld, passed away peacefully at age 90 on May 22, 2017. He was surrounded by his two children, daughter Leslie Tscherne and son Jay along with his sister Lorraine Hertz. Preceded in death by his wife Geri and son Richard. Milton as a young boy was passionate about the Boy Scouts and at 14 years old was the youngest child to ever become an Eagle Scout. He left high school early to join the Coast Guard. When he returned home he met his future bride Geri Ross which led to his 69 year marriage until Geri passed in 2016. Milton was a Professional Photographer who shot over 1800 weddings. He eventually became a commercial photographer and slowly transitioned into video. After his retirement his passion for woodworking led him to create beautiful jewelry boxes, bird houses along with doing master cabinetry. One of his greatest pleasures was every Wednesday for over 10 years he joined a table of his peers for lunch. It is called the ROMEO Club “Retired Old Men Eat Out”. Milton never missed a lunch. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. THURSDAY May 25th at TEMPLE OF AARON SYNAGOGUE, 616 So. Mississippi River Blvd., St Paul. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Compassion Without Borders, PO Box 14995, Santa Rosa, CA 95402.
