Dr. Miles Lane Age 88 of Mendota Heights, passed away April 24, 2013. Preceded in death by parents, Samuel and Bertha Labovitch; sister, Shirley Labovitch. Survived by loving wife of 60 years, Harriet; children, Stephen Lane (Nancy), Randy Lane (Lisa), Polly Saxon (Michael); grandchildren, Molly (Brent), Jana (Willie), Max, Sam, Joe, Abby, Ben and Emmy; great-grandchildren, Shey, Owen, Maddy and Julia; sisters, Harriet Gasway (William), Loretta Modelevsky (Herb); many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A special thanks to Dr. Victor Corbett and caregiver, Heather. Dr. Miles Lane grew up in St. Paul, MN, graduated from U of M Medical School in 1959, and spent his adult life married to the love of his life. He practiced as a “humble country doctor” in White Bear Lake for 37 years – and he loved every single minute. He brought joy, fun and integrity to all of our lives. His wisdom and wonderful sense of humor will be missed. We love him immensely and we will always have him in our memory. Shalom, Dr. Lane.
