Michael "Misha" Makovetsky

Michael “Misha” Makovetsky, age 83, of St. Louis Park, passed away on August 10, 2020. Preceded in death by sister, Ida Makovetsky; and granddaughter, Zoe Makovetsky. Survived by wife, Maya; son Alex (Sally Spector); grandsons, Max and Eli; niece, Regina (Len) Sheynblat; nephew, John (Melody) Kheylik; and many cousins. Misha immigrated to Minnesota from the former Soviet Union with his family and built an extraordinary life here. Beloved by family, friends, and coworkers, Misha was a top salesman at Rudy Luther Toyota trusted by many repeat customers. He loved travel, watching tennis, playing ping-pong, swimming at the JCC, an espresso, a glass of cognac and a good cigar.
