Meyer "Mike" Salloway Obituary (1925 - 2016)

Meyer “Mike” Salloway, age 91, loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle, will be forever missed. Preceded in death by wife Sally Nash Salloway, daughter Judy Salloway Ladin and son Paul Salloway. Survived by daughter Lori Salloway Reznick (Avi Kipper); grandchildren Robyn (Reid) Schwartz, Steven (Nikki) Ladin, Bryan Ladin, and Matt Reznick; great-grandchildren Jordyn and Sophie Schwartz, Eli and Ariana Ladin; many nieces, nephews and longtime friends. A special thank you to the Transitions Home Health Care team and the Park Nicollet Methodist Hospice team. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. SUNDAY at TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2323 Fremont Ave. So., Mpls. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Mike Salloway and Lori Salloway Reznick Fund at Sholom Foundation, www.sholom.com or the donor’s favorite charity. SHIVA, 7 p.m. Sunday at Temple Israel. Mike lived by this saying: “Those who bring sunshine into the lives of others, cannot keep it from themselves.” Mike brought sunshine to everyone around him.
