It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Melissa R. Buerger, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished daughter, and sister, who passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025, at the age of 50. Melissa was born in St Louis Park and lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to her family.
She was known for her strength, courage, openness, and her ability to always know how to make everyone feel special. She found joy in quality time with family and friends, and watching movies and sports at home with her husband, Dan.
Melissa was preceded in death by her father, Sam Schwartz. She is survived by her loving spouse of 23 years, Daniel; children, Tyler, Veronica, and Derek Buerger; mother, Shelley Schwartz; and sister, Jennifer Schwartz. Funeral is reserved for close family and friends. We welcome all who want to come and share stories and comfort to join us for Shiva at 7 p.m. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday at Beth El Synagogue, 5225 Barry St. W, St. Louis Park, MN.
