Mehdi "Mike" Solomon Moheban Obituary (1929 - 2015)

Mehdi "Mike" Solomon Moheban Age 85 of St. Paul, MN, passed away Feb. 2, 2015. Born in Mashad, Iran, "Mike" came to America in 1952. He met his wife of 58 years, Lois, while both were working summer jobs at Yellowstone National Park. After a summer honeymoon on a forest lookout tower, they moved to St. Paul and Mike taught math at St. Paul Park High School for thirty years. He is warmly remembered by many former students and his teacher colleagues. In retirement he enjoyed traveling, wood carving, collecting coins and stamps, golf, the men's club at the Jewish Community Center, but most of all being with family. He is survived by his wife, Lois; sons, Keith (Jane), Gary, and Richard; grandsons, Sam and Zack. Funeral service THURSDAY, 1:00PM, MOUNT ZION TEMPLE, 1300 Summit Ave., St. Paul.
