Mary Arbitman Fellman

Mary Arbitman Fellman, age 91, passed away peacefully on July 6th with her children at her side. Mary was a lifelong community activist and leader in Omaha, NE. Her tireless devotion to a variety of causes earned her respect as well as recognition from all segments of the Jewish and Omaha community. She was truly an example of how to live each day with zest, energy, love and faith. Survived by her children, Marsha Zimmerman, Mark Fellman (Robin Caplan), all of St. Paul, and Ronald (Debbie) Fellman, Newton, MA;
grandchildren, Jesse, Jake (Genevieve) and Ben Zimmerman, Sam, Katy, Becky, Matt, and Dan Fellman and one expected great grandchild; also survived by her sister, Annie (Harry) Allen; loving nieces, nephews, special cousins, other relatives and many friends. for their loving care the last 3+ years. Funeral service was held in Omaha. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Nebraska Jewish Historical Society of donor's choice. SHIVA, in St. Paul Thursday, July 10th at 7PM at 2238 Copperfield Drive, Mendota Heights.
