Martin R. Schuman

Martin R. Schuman, age 83 of Apple Valley, died peacefully at the home of his daughter, Bari, in Tucson on June 30th. Marty was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Minnesota in 1977. Preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Miriam Schuman and brother Howard Schuman. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Sheila; daughter, Bari (John) Orozco, and son, Scott Schuman; grandchildren, Jonah and Lauren Resnick, Jakob and Isaac Schuman. Also survived by sister-in-law Marcia Stein; niece Bonnie (Michael) Maloney and nephews Wayne and Jeffrey (Barbara) Reyes . Funeral service 12:30 pm TUESDAY July 6th Mount Zion Temple, 1300 Summit Ave., St. Paul. Masks will be required for all attending. Service will be live streamed at www.mzion.org (click on livestreaming). SHIVA 7 pm Tuesday and Wednesday at 6256 134th St. West, Apple Valley (Please wear a mask) You can attend both the funeral service and Shiva services via zoom.
