Age 81 of Edina passed away Nov. 1, 2016. Preceded in death by parents, Morris and Betty Edelson. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Fran Edelson; sons, S. Max Edelson (Jen), Marc Edelson (Liz Otremba), Brett Edelson (Heather); grandchildren, Will, Leo, Benny, Carter, Caleb, Sam and Josh Edelson; brother, Nate Edelson (Margit). Bob epitomized respect for all people, loyalty and generosity. He was a dedicated PhD chemist, had a passion for teaching, earned the nickname Aquadoc and recited pi from memory to 45 decimals, a feat he continued with Alzheimer’s Disease.
