Martha "Jeanne" Ettinger Obituary (1924 - 2018)

Martha "Jeanne" Ettinger, of Minneapolis, born July 11, 1924, passed away September 13, 2018. Jeanne worked as a surgical nurse prior to marrying and raising a family. She was active in professional and charitable organizations including the MN Republican Party, Lady's Auxiliary for the Academy of Neurology, Hadassah, Hennepin County Medical Center Service League, and many others. She loved to travel, and cultivated friendships throughout the world. Jeanne was an accomplished cook, seamstress, and bridge player. She enjoyed music, literature, and puzzles. Preceded in death by husband, Milton; parents, John and Jenny Liggett; sister, Iris Bline; brother, Allen Liggett; son-in-law, John Baranauskas. Survived by daughter, Adrienne Baranauskas; son, David (Nita) Ettinger; grandchildren, Nick Baranauskas and Lauren Ettinger; sister-in-law, Camille Liggett. A memorial service will be held at HODROFF-EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2018 at 9:30 AM. Memorials are preferred to Hennepin Health Foundation.
