Marilyn M. Shapiro

Marilyn M. Shapiro, age 99, of St. Louis Park, passed away March 30th. Preceded in death by loving husband, Alan; brother, Louis Marquisee; parents, Della and Jesse Marquisee. Survived by sons, L. Michael (Karol Carstensen), Jeffrey (Barbara), James (Wendy); grandchildren, Matthew (Melissa), Sam (Kacie), and Sydney; great grandchildren, Joshua, Evan, and Lea; brother-in-law, Merton Shapiro (Leslee); niece, Gena Janetka (Joe); and nephew, Jed Marquisee and Karen Jaffee. The family would like to thank her special caregivers, Teresa Adams, Marilyn Goodman, Rita Camp, Tina Kopp, and Carol Rose, along with the staff at Parkwood Shores and the staff at Gentiva Hospice. Graveside service 11:30 am, SUNDAY, April 2nd, TEMPLE ISRAEL MEMORIAL PARK, 4200 3rd Ave. S., Minneapolis. Shiva Sunday evening 5:00 pm, Temple Israel, 2323 Fremont Ave. S., Minneapolis.
