Marilyn R. Engle

Marilyn R. Engle, age 94, of St. Louis Park, died peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones on March 9, 2022. She was a Beautiful lady, inside and out! Marilyn was our beloved and devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, and Friend. Preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Engle; parents, Samuel and Gusta Weiner; and sister, Carolyle Reisman. Survived by her loving daughter, Lonnie Zimmerman and son-in-law, Casey; grandsons Adam and Aaron Zimmerman, who she adored; numerous nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her kindness and thoughtfulness that touched all the people in her life. Truly a heart of gold! Marilyn will be forever missed by all who knew her. Our family would like to express our gratitude to her dedicated team of caregivers and Allina Hospice, for their compassionate and loving care. They made it possible for her to remain in her home these final years of her life. Funeral service 2:30 pm on SUNDAY, MARCH 13TH, at UNITED HEBREW BROTHERHOOD CEMETERY CHAPEL, 2605 W. 70 1/2 St., Richfield. Memorials preferred to Macular Degeneration Research, JFCS or donor's charity of choice. SHIVA, 7 pm on Sunday at Temple Israel, 2323 Fremont Ave. S., Minneapolis. Services are available on Zoom.
