Marcia Yust Obituary (1925 - 2010)

Marcia Marilyn Morris Yust, age 84, passed away May 29, 2010 in Irvine, CA after a brief illness. She was born in Minneapolis, MN on October 9, 1925 and moved to Bismarck, ND where she was raised. She attended the University of Minnesota and moved to California in 1950. Her life's passion was fashion and design. She will always be remembered for her elegant style. She was ahead of her time -- working while raising four children and volunteering for various community organizations including Women's American ORT and Western Medical Center. She was a member of the Costume Council of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. She is survived by her husband Donald Yust and four children, Katherine Yust Johansen, Karen Yust, Patricia Yust and Marvin Yust as well as three grand children, Rachel, Zach and Julianna and one great grandson, Bailey. Her family mourns the loss of a devoted, loyal, compassionate, caring and elegant mother and wife. Graveside service WEDNESDAY 3:30 PM, MINNEAPOLIS JEWISH CEMETERY, 70 ½ & Penn Ave. S., Richfield. Memorials preferred to donor’s favorite charity.
