Madeline Winnick

Born August 3, 1921, in New York City. Died peacefully on July 26, 2010 in her home in St. Paul, Minnesota. Beloved wife of the late Sam J. Winnick. Cherished mother of Scott Winnick (Kathy), Andrea Cohen (Rabbi Norman), Dianne Dubish (Bruce) and Shari Alyeshmerni (Dr. Albert); devoted grandmother and confidant of T.J. (fiancé Stacy), Bradley, Todd, Drew, Brooke, Chase and Zoee. Also survived by brother, Maurice Stern; brother-in-law and sisters in law, Sherman and Ty Gordon, Lovey Winnick and Annetta Winnick; many loving nephews, nieces and friends. The family wishes to thank Deborah Smith for her outstanding care, devotion, and kindness and the team at Allina Hospice. The loss of Maddie’s wisdom and sense of fun leaves a void in our hearts. Always a lady; she had a clear and constant courage. We will miss her. Funeral service TUESDAY (TODAY) 2PM at TEMPLE OF AARON SYNAGOGUE, 616 S. Mississippi River Blvd., St. Paul.
