Lynne Tania Lee, age 86, of Saint Paul, passed away on September 22, 2026.
Lynne was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She grew up in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where she raised her two sons, Marc and David. She worked as a social worker for Older Adult Services at Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Minneapolis for more than 30 years.
Lynne loved being in nature, reading, walking, baking, butterflies, and spending time with her family. Her Jewish faith and traditions were also an important part of her life.
Lynne was deeply kindhearted, compassionate, and generous. Despite her petite stature, Lynne had a bold presence, a spirited sense of humor, and a strong-willed personality. She had a remarkable way of remembering the people she loved, including never forgetting a family birthday. She was always giving to others and often put their needs before her own. Lynne regularly supported charities and causes that were important to her. She will be remembered for her generosity, her caring nature, and the love she had for her family and community.
Lynne was preceded in death by her son, David, whom she loved deeply and cared for devotedly. She will be laid to rest beside him. Lynne is survived by her son, Marc; her brother, Steve; her sister-in-law, Gail; her grandchildren, Joshua and Rebecca; and her great-grandchild, Saphira.
