Lois Virginia Schenfeld (nee Nord) Obituary (1927 - 2013)

Schenfeld, Lois Virginia (nee Nord) Age 86 passed peacefully on October 6, 2013. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Preceded in death by parents, David and Eva Nord; brothers, David, Paul, Richard and Darrell. She will be sadly missed by loving husband of 66 years, Sam “Chick”; daughters, Nancy (Greg) Winter and Shelly (Charlie Borden) Schenfeld; grandson, Aaron (Bethany) Winter and granddaughter Lauren (Peter) Routhier; sisters-in-law, Margaret, Phyllis, Rosemary and June Nord; also many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral service 11 AM TUESDAY at UNITED HEBREW BROTHERHOOD CEMETERY CHAPEL, 70 1/2 and Thomas Ave. S., Richfield, MN. SHIVA 7 PM Tuesday at Bet Shalom Congregation, 13613 Orchard Road, Minnetonka, MN. Lois’s family would like to thank Rabbi Cohen for his support and to thank all of the wonderful Sholom Hospice volunteers, Liz, Patty, Beth and Rabbi Stiefel. Also a special thank you to her Hospice nurse Gayle Laughlin for her tender care. Memorials preferred to donor’s favorite charity.
