Lois Kozberg, age 93, of Minnetonka, passed away October 27, 2023. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Marty; her son, Jeff; her parents, Max and May Bix; and her brother and sister-in-law, Milton and Micky Bix. She is survived by her sons, Steve (Jill) and Marc (Julie); her grandchildren, Josh (Michelle), Rachel (Sam), Mollie (Sam), Abby, Ellie, and Sarah; and her great- grandchildren, Cayden and Kennedy. Lois never met a stranger. It was not unusual for her to learn the life stories of everyone she met. Her legacy lives on through her family and the programs she impacted at Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Minneapolis, including Big Brother/Big Sister, Resettlement, Community Outreach, and Special Events. She was also a dedicated volunteer at Adath Jeshurun Congregation, serving on a variety of committees. We will forever be grateful to our brother, Jeff, who moved back from Israel to take care of her in the final years of her life. We also want to thank her dear friend, JoAnne, for her decades-long devotion and uncanny ability to make her laugh. These last several months were made easier by the kindness and dedication of her wonderful caregivers, Enid and Wendy. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. TUESDAY, October 31st, at ADATH JESHURUN CONGREGATION, 10500 Hillside Lane West, Minnetonka. Funeral will be live-streamed at: https://www.adathjeshurun.org/livestream.html Shiva 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Adath Jeshurun Congregation.
