Lev Feldman

–

Daytona Beach, Florida

Lev Feldman, beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 24, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Fania Feldman, sisters Bella and Genya, children Alex and Marina, and grandchildren Justice, Noah and Nina. Lev was born to a Jewish family in Malyn, Ukraine—a small town near Kyiv which was at that time part of the Soviet Union—where his ancestors had lived for hundreds of years. Then, in the mid-1970s, he gathered his family and departed the USSR, beginning a journey that would take them to Greece, Israel, and finally to the shores of the United States, where they ultimately settled in Minnesota. There he and Fania raised their children and saw the births of their grandchildren on American soil. A lifelong hard worker, Lev eventually acquired multiple businesses, devoting himself to building a better life for his family. Even in retirement, he continued to tirelessly and without complaint take care of those closest to him. He spent the main part of his time in Florida in his later years—loving the warm climate and the abundant fish that he caught offshore. Lev loved to cook, and he was a clever handyman, forever fixing and repairing around the house. His friends and family would give him the nickname "Golden Hands"—as he could repair any household project, big or small. In his spare time, he enjoyed studying Hebrew, watching football, and fishing with his grandson, Justice. Above all, he was a constant to rely on, a mentor, a gentle human, a value driven leader, and a caretaker, who was always present. He will be greatly missed by all those who loved him. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may he watch over all his family members and friends from heaven.Graveside service 1:00 pm, MONDAY, August 26th, ADATH CHESED SHEL EMES CEMETERY, 3740 Winnetka Ave. N., Crystal.
