Leonard Ribnick Obituary (2008)

Leonard G. Ribnick, age 84 of Golden Valley, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away peacefully December 1st surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by parents, brother, Burt Ribnick, sister and brother-in-law, Renee & Phil Levy. He is survived by Fay, his loving wife of 55 years; children, Nancy & Michael Schoenberger, Jerry & Louise Ribnick, Debbie & Gil Mann and Dan & Mindy Ribnick; grandchildren, Steven & Louise Schoenberger, Ali & Josh Berdass, Samuel, Joel and Tali Ribnick, Josh, Naomi, Rosie and Danny Mann, David and Jonathan Ribnick; great grandchild, Micah Schoenberger; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Renee Ribnick, Bobby & Phil Bloom, Harold & Eileen Scherling and Sandy & Brian Salita. He enjoyed his career in the automotive parts business and later in the luggage business. He was past president of Beth El Synagogue, board member of Sholom Foundation, and Mpls. Jewish Federation. Leonard lived life fully: he loved and was devoted to his family, friends and community. Funeral service WEDNESDAY 12 NOON, BETH EL SYNAGOGUE, 5224 W. 26th St., St. Louis Park.
