Age 83 of Edina passed away June 1, 2013. Lena was the proud owner of Plymouth Building Gift and Card, and then the Lena Belle Giftsources at 50th and France in Edina. Lena took great pride in always looking her best, especially in her favorite color of pink. Toward the end of her life, Lena battled cancer like a warrior, fighting to the very end. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Norman; parents, Harry and Frieda Mulowitz; and sister, Rose Fink. Survived by daughter, Freda Ann (Kent) Confeld; grandchildren, Matthew (Heather), Mackenzie, Michael (Amanda); step-grandchildren, Jonathan (Sara), David (Jesse), and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Ari, Tavia; sister-in-law, Barbara Goldberg; nephews, Fred, Nate (Fede), Ross (Cheryl); and six great nieces and nephews. Funeral service MONDAY (TODAY), 3:00PM, UNITED HEBREW BROTHERHOOD CEMETERY CHAPEL, 70 ½ and Thomas, Richfield. Memorials preferred to American Cancer Society, and Beth El Synagogue, Aleph Preschool.
