Leigh Gillman Obituary (1949 - 2013)

Leigh Gillman age 63, of Eagan. Preceded in death by father, Louis. Survived by mother, Edith; siblings, Diane (Jim) Charney, Jackson (Susan) Gillman, Cherni Gillman; nephews & nieces and grand-niece; uncle, Harold Gillman; his dear cat, Elwyn Llewellyn Gillman and many cousins & friends who greatly will miss Leigh’s many kindnesses. Leigh was a quiet, generous, gentle soul who expressed himself through his music. Although modest, he was a talented composer and pianist who was devoted to his family, plants and cat. He loved taking walks and feeding wild birds from his four feeders. About his plants, he recently wrote, “I don’t have enough flowering ones but am working on it. I grow from seed and I want my apartment to be a haven of color.” Graveside service MONDAY 12 NOON, SONS OF JACOB CEMETERY, Parkway Drive & Larpenteur, St. Paul.
