Kirby Wayne Binder Obituary (1956 - 2023)

Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on January 22, 1956 to Manuel and Ruth Binder and passed away on April 17, 2023. Kirby was brought up in Golden Valley, Minnesota and graduated from Golden Valley High School. He attended the University of Minnesota on a swimming scholarship. He went on to graduate from Brown Technical Institute as an audio engineer. Kirby travelled the world doing audio for all types of sporting events, including the Olympics. He was also the audio engineer for many bands, local and national. Kirby was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Ruth; and his brother, Louis. He is survived by his sister, Karin. Graveside service 1:30 pm on Thursday, April 27th at BETH EL MEMORIAL PARK, 3726 Winnetka Av N., Crystal, MN. Following the graveside service, there will be a gathering to celebrate Kirby at Doolittle's Wood-fired Grill in Golden Valley. Food and beverages will be provided.
