Katy Ann Krenzen Obituary (1921 - 2010) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota

age 88 of St. Louis Park. Kate proudly serviced her country as a U.S. Marine from 1943 to 1946, and was one of few women to be in the Marine Corps at that time. She was known by everyone as “The Woman Marine”. Survived by brother Jack Krenzen; nephews, Steve of Mill Valley, CA, Howie and Scott of Duluth; great nephews and nieces, Louie, Lane, Nolan, Lyndsey and Mary all of Duluth. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Sholom Home West for their kindness and care. Memorials are preferred to The Krenzen Fund at the Sholom Foundation.
