Judith Grisha Sigelman, of Golden Valley, MN passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the age of 80. Judy was born and raised in St. Paul, MN, graduated from St. Paul Central, and attended the University of Minnesota and UCLA. While she thrived in her career, she prided herself the head of the family and established herself as the best mother and grandmother to grandkids and grandpets one could ever hope for. On the side, she was the Wall Street Journal’s director of circulation for the upper Midwest; and worked for, among other companies, the second love in her life, Target. Judy’s love for children and connection to her community inspired an extensive volunteer career that included the Harriet Tubman Center, Courage Center, Ronald McDonald House, and Big Brother Big Sisters. A friend and mother to all, Judy was loved by everyone, including friends from childhood to the present. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones at Sholom Home West. Judy is preceded in death by the first love in her life, her spouse, Michael, and is survived by sons Sam (Megan), Danny, and Jon, grandsons Milo and Ari, brothers Gerald Laurie and James Laurie, and sisters Sondrea Rein and Bluma Schneider. Judy’s service is on TUESDAY, May 9, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at the MINNEAPOLIS JEWISH CEMETERY, 7032 Penn Ave. S., Richfield, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Harriet Tubman Center, 4432 Chicago Ave. So., Minneapolis, MN 55407. SHIVA, 7:00 pm Tuesday at 135 Maryland Ave. So., Golden Valley.
