Dr. Judith Finkelstein Kashtan Obituary (1951 - 2021)

Dr. Judith Finkelstein Kashtan passed away on Saturday, November 27 as the result of a sudden brain hemorrhage. Dr. Kashtan was a beloved and admired psychiatrist who was a past president of the Minnesota Psychiatric Society and member of the Board of Trustees of the American Psychiatric Association, where she advocated for women as psychiatrists and as leaders in the profession. Dr. Kashtan was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Finkelstein. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Clifford Kashtan; her children, Aaron, Paula and Sarah; her father, Dr. Lionel Finkelstein; her siblings Jim (Elnora) Finkelstein, Martha (Eric) Young and Amy (Andrew) Dick; and many loving nieces and nephews.
