Josephine Portnoy

Josephine Portnoy, age 88, of St. Paul, passed away November 23, 2010 following complications of Parkinson's Disease. Preceded in death by husband, Jerry; son, Murray; brothers, Louis, Mike, and "Issy". Survived by daughters, Marice Rosenberg and Lisa (Joe) Ackerman; sister, Sarah Zerring; grandchildren, Amy, Briana, Jezreel, Michelle, Carrie, Lindsay and Joshua; 8 great-grandchildren and niece, Judy. Josephine will always be remembered for making life "sweeter" for family, friends and anyone around her. She especially took great pride in her many years of Jewish baking for the Sholom Community. Funeral service WEDNESDAY 11 AM, TEMPLE OF AARON SYNAGOGUE, 616 S. Mississippi River Blvd., St. Paul. Memorials preferred to Struthers Parkinson's Center or Alzheimer's Association.
