Preceded in death by husband, Melvin; parents, Ottilia & Simon; sister, Silvia. Survived by son, Desmond "Des" & wife Vatei; daughter, Leslie "Mitz"; niece, Magdalena "Bumbi" and cousins. Josephine was born in Romania, and grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she still has family. Fluent in five languages. In her life, Josie was a European-trained aesthetician, jeweler and a successful real estate agent. She was a very courageous and strong woman, who was an extremely loving mother to her children, caring wife, and was kind and devoted to her friends. Funeral services WEDNESDAY 2:00 PM, ADATH YESHURUN CEMETERY, 56th & France Ave S., Edina. Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Research Assoc.
