John Schuleman Obituary (2009)

John Schuleman, Holocaust survivor of Auschwitz and Flossenburg. Passed away on Jan 19, 2009, age 81, surrounded by his loved ones. Preceded in death by his first wife of 39 years, Joyce; his parents, Arndt & Henrietta, and brother Alfred all perished at Auschwitz and brother Walter perished at Zasavica, sister, Margot died in Israel. Survived by children, Gail Rosenberg, Alan (Jan), Mark (Michelle), Lynn (Brian) Hisle; grandchildren Adam, Aaron, Danny, Jack, Tovah and Anna; and wife Margot. John was a veteran of the Korean War and 35+ year member of the IBEW 110. He will be missed by all those who knew him. Thank you to the wonderful caregivers who made a difference in his life at The Commons on Marice, Ebenezer Ridges Care Center and The Lodge Hospice Home. Funeral service THURSDAY, January 22nd 1 PM, TEMPLE OF AARON SYNAGOGUE, 616 So. Mississippi River Blvd., St. Paul.
